March 13, 1931 - January 16, 2021
Irene C. Tritch died suddenly after a short illness the evening of January 16, 2021 at North Bay Hospital in Fairfield. Irene was born in Monkton Scotland on March 13, 1931 to William and Mary Carey. She married the love of her life Eric Tritch in Clear Spring Maryland on January 25, 1958. They enjoyed many years together until Eric’s unexpected passing in 2004. Irene was the loving mother to Avril (Tritch) Altman and her husband Marvin of Fairfield; Roy Tritch and his wife Denise of Tucson, Arizona. Devoted grandmother to Casey Altman of Fairfield; Paul Tritch U.S. Marine stationed at Quantico, Virginia; Amanda (Tritch) Hoobler of Tucson Arizona. Doting great-grandmother to Aiden Tritch of Quantico, Virginia; Madison Hoobler of Tucson, Arizona. Irene was an avid bowler, she loved bowling with her fellow retired military wife’s in their bowling leagues and tournaments. Also, on most Wednesdays she could be found at the Cache Creek casino playing slot machines and meeting her various friends there. When she was home, she enjoyed sewing and making quilts for friends and family members or watching the hummingbirds in her backyard. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no public memorial service. The family will attend a private interment service where she will be reunited with her husband Eric at the Fairmont Memorial Park in Fairfield. The family respectfully request memorial contributions in Irene’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, since anyone who knew her knew how much she loved all children. Arrangements are under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 425-4697.
