Elizabeth Ann Hood

Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Hood, 36, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2020 at her home in Fairfield, California. Beth was born August 3, 1983 in Sacramento, California at Methodist Hospital to John Wayne Hood and Michelle Stephens Saccoccio. Beth’s marriages include Nicholas Karagiannopolous, 2005-2011 and Jesse Robinson 2013-2018. Beth was unmarried at the time of her passing. Beth graduated from Fairfield High School in 2001 where she completed AP (advanced placement) Art Classes. Beth also participated in Water Polo and Swimming. Prior to her involvement as a swimmer, she was active in Bobby Sox for 5 years. After high school she attended Solano Community College with the intention of transferring to the Academy of Art College in San Francisco until she decided to accept an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist. Beth had been in the Tattoo Industry for 15 years and she worked at shops throughout Solano and Contra Costa Counties, Santa Cruz and Sacramento. At the time of her passing, she worked at Bulletproof Ink in Fairfield, California. Beth was part of the Vivacious Vixens Club whose purpose is to motivate and inspire others through art, glam and creative activities such as car shows, pinup, alternative modeling, burlesque and charity events. She also played the upright bass in an all-girls Johnny Cash Tribute Band, The Rock n Roll Ruby’s. Beth lived in Solano County for 25 years and attended Liberty Christian Center for 10 years where she was part of the youth and young adult groups. Although her family were members at Liberty Church during her youth, she also participated in youth group at Parkway Community Church during junior high and high school. Beth is survived by her two minor sons, Robert Karagiannopolous and Jesse Robinson of Fairfield, mother Michelle Stephens Saccoccio and step-father Raymond Saccoccio of Fairfield, father John Hood and step mother Karen Hood of Penn Valley, brother Jonathan Hood and sister in law Joelle Hood of Napa and niece Jocelyn San Miguel, brother Joel Hood of Fairfield and grandmother Barbara Stephens of Vacaville. Beth is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Robert Stephens and paternal grandparents JB and Imogene Hood and her nephew Waylon Hood. A memorial service will be scheduled once restrictions on public gathering has been lifted. A memorial cruise is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm. Cruise through the parking lot of Bulletproof Ink, 647 Parker Road, Fairfield. Please follow vehicles in line and stop one at a time to drop a candle or remembrance in front of the shop.
