Concepcion Ignacio Marino April 3, 1931 – December 24, 2021 In loving memory, Concepcion I. Marino of Fairfield, CA passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021 at UC Davis Medical Center Sacramento, CA. Born on April 3, 1931, she was a resident of Asan, Guam and Fairfield, CA. She was a devout Catholic known for being an active member and choir member of the Nino Perdido Y Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Church, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St.Francis, Guam. Prior to being a homemaker, she worked as a Cashier at Moylan’s Merchandise Store, Pedro’s Grocery Store, J&G Markets, Treasurer of Guam and PUAG (Guam Waterworks Authority). She loved to cook Chamorro and Filipino dishes for her family. She enjoyed playing card games and reading the daily newspapers to relax. She often traveled between Guam and Fairfield with her husband to help raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married her soulmate, Perfecto S. Marino, on June 18,1960. They were married for sixty-one years. She is survived by her three children – Marie M. Lucio, Leonor M. Mendiola, and Paul I. Marino; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Perfecto; parents, Enrique R. & Soledad J. Ignacio; in-laws, Juan & Juana S. Marino; son-in-law, George F. Mendiola; and great-grandson, Khoi C. Hoang. Last respects will be paid for Concepcion and her husband, Perfecto, on February 15, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fairfield, CA. She and Perfecto will be interned at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA on February 16, 2022.
