Bryan-Braker Railroad

The Bryan-Braker Railroad will give kids and their parents a unique opportunity. Kids will have a blast and parents will feel good knowing they are helping their community. The donations received to ride the train will directly benefit our community through a gift to a local non-profit.

An Odd Coupling?

A funeral home and a railroad may seem like an odd combination to some, but not to Craig Bryan, owner of Bryan-Braker, and manager Chris Donhost. “I grew up on Main Street in Suisun,” said Bryan. “Trains are part of my earliest memory, and Dixon has a rich history with trains.” Bryan was aware of Donhost’s enthusiasm over the  train hobby and knew he was taking his train to various tracks, and giving rides to children. “We thought we’d be working together and knew it would be a wonderful opportunity for community events. Children would sure appreciate it,” said Bryan. “All we were lacking was the track so we invested in the steel and Chris provided the labor. We now have 500 feet of track.”

Giving Back

A ride on the Bryan-Braker Railroad is so much more than a ride, it is a source of benefit to our community partners who work tirelessly to help those in need.  Bryan-Braker desires to support these efforts in a fun way. It’s all part of Bryan-Braker’s vision to be identified with the rich history of our community which trains have always had in Solano County.
